The celebrity-fragrance train shows no sign of slowing down — but it is making a stop at Latifah City. This August, Queen Latifah's fragrance, appropriately named Queen, will debut at Macy's, Bon-Ton, and Dillard's.
The multi-talented star says she tried more than four dozen scents before settling on the final formulation, which she calls a "warm and sexy" scent. “Queen doesn’t smell like anything else," she told WWD. "That’s what you’re setting out to do — to create something unique. People tend to want to borrow from what’s popular, and me, I try to be a pioneer, a trendsetter.”

Two sizes of eau de parfum, a body lotion, and a body butter will be available at launch. What's more, Queen hinted that this may be just the first step in a burgeoning beauty empire. "We’ve definitely been talking about how to increase brands specifically created by me that would encompass makeup and beauty products,” she told WWD.

Although I am sometimes skeptical of celebrity fragrances, I have a feeling that Queen Latifah's scent will be something special. It is nice that she obviously put so much effort into it. I am very interested to see if she expands her empire!

3It smells soooooooo.... good. It reminds me of Angel perfume.
4I just purchased Queen's new perfume and it smells so wonderful. It smells like a real lady should. Warm, sweet and sensual.I love the scent.
5I tried a sample of the perfume "Queen" and I love it! It is the best perfume that I have smelled in a long time and I have not wanted to purchase cologne in at least 5 years. I am going out tomorrow to buy a bottle. You did a great job Queen on this one, keep up the great work. May God continue to bless you.
6She did well, it doesn't smell like anything else on the main market of perfumes. (Like department stores) It's not a fruity floral at least. Def. warm and inviting.
