Love It or Hate It? Evan Rachel Wood Lightens Up

Evan Rachel Wood has been wearing a 1940s glam style for awhile now, and she's changed up her look once again. At last night's Gotham Awards, Wood lightened her raven tresses with this vivid copper hue.

In the past year or so, she's gone from blonde to brunette to retro black, (which you weren't loving, by the way) to her current shade of red. Her hair color spectrum is now complete.

Could it be a change post Marilyn Manson breakup or maybe even an attempt to break away from her copycat reputation? Whatever the story, how are you liking this new color?

She looks amazing. She came to the fore and we noticed her as REDHEAD. So Femme Fatale. So Hollywood ang glam!!! Redheads are the best looking girls generaly they are rare but they are like diamonds. We need more redheads and cooper girls on scene :) That's her colour!!! Blonde is so boring and she was so lame with blonde...soo nothing special...she fits into masses and with dark hair it looks like she is copycat of Dita. Red is a new blonde! Amazing - as aesthetes and worker in fashion and beauty I can say to Reachel only 2 words - stay red!

she still looks wierd; I wish she would just go back to blond; but I am kinf od loving this color! it's so bright and fun, but I think it looks a little wierd on her. I don't what it is; she used to look so soft and pretty, and now her eyes always look scary. it's definitely better than the Dita von Teese look that she was trying...

with her black hair, it looked like she was copying dita von teese. now, she looks like she is copying another of marilyn manson's exes, rose mcgowan. rose mcgowan has dyed her hair several different colors, one of them was this orangey-red. even still, she looks great (with exception to the eyebrows). although, i'd rather see her back to her regular hair color. truly, the best color of hair for ourselves is usually the one that we are born with.

I love this color and I disagree that it looks like she just bleached over black hair. Take a look at any natural copper-colored redhead, and it's about this orange. I tease my sister about her naturally orange hair all the time.

I don't agree that our natural hair color is always the best. I had dull brown hair naturally, and then I made the change to a honey blonde. Everyone compliments this color and I get noticed more. Look at Beyonce, I doubt blonde is her natural color but she looks great.

Prettyish color, and I voted Love it because ANYTHING'S better than Dita von 2.0, but she really did look best blond. i hope she slowly backs down from the crazy intense makeup thing -- she's so lovely au naturel.

It looks like she tried to bleach over black hair. A lot of the girls from my high school sported that color after grunge went out and surfer girl was in.In other words, shouldn't an actress be able to hire someone to fix it so it doesn't look like a bad at-home cover-up job?
