Rachel McAdams 2010 Oscars: Pictures and Makeup Tutorial

For Rachel McAdams, Oscar beauty runs in the family. Her sister, Kayleen McAdams, is her makeup artist. Kayleen used Rachel's watercolor-toned Elie Saab dress as inspiration for her beauty look.

"There was a wash of cool tones in the dress, blue, green, purple, [and] pink so we wanted the eye, cheek, and lips to all have this same watercolor sheerness to it," said Kayleen. First, she applied Chanel's Fluid Iridescent Eye Shadow in Fountain (a pink tone) to Rachel's lids. Then, she used the rosy-gold shade of the brand's Quadra Eye Shadow in Spices all the way up to the brow bone and all along the lid, and Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Slate was applied to the inner corners of the eyes. Coco Lip Color in Rose Comete, a light pink tone, and Glossimer in Futile pulled it all together.
