Some people said the bob is over, but Reese Witherspoon proves otherwise. Yesterday, she showed off a brand-new cropped cut with a few intentionally dark roots. She looks pretty cool, and as a working mom, she'll probably save tons of hair-styling time. Do you like the new cut, or do you wish she'd skipped the snip?

I have Reese's face shape and have done research on the best haircuts for this particular face-shape. In all honesty, I found longer layered haircuts with bangs like how she had before, is the best way to go! The bangs help cover up the forehead (which typically is long-ish on heart-shapes) and the longer hair with longer layers (don't go choppy! :) ) will frame the face just right and not draw too much attention to the prominent chin and compliments the jawline! You'd want the layers to start just above or below where it would frame the face and it will for sure look amazing. As for her bob, not the best. Don't get me wrong, it looks okay-cute! But, in October I cut my hair like hers in Sweet Home Alabama, and it turned out adorable! But I for POSITIVE like longer hair on HeArTsHaPe FaCeS!!!

Im 31 (Actually... 32 in a couple of days) and I have hair down to the middle of my back and rest assured, I have never been told I look "frumpy"...I have several friends in their early 20's who look less than vibrant, so to speak, regardless of hair length. Your comment screams ignorance. And Reese looks great.

Uh uh. She needs to grow her hair back out. True to whomever said short hair is more work than long. Because you have to figure out what to do with it and it can get pretty boring wearing the same hairstyle over and over again(VB)Leave this hairstyle to Victoria Beckham. She's an alien and sports it better. I may never cut my hair but if I do then it sure as hell won't be a Bob. I hate em!or it depends on the way you wear them. I have a girlfriend who wears a Bob and even though I hate them I admitted it looked great on her. I think women with darker hair wears it better. Because her hair is black like mine. Reese is cute but this hair style I won't encourage to anyone if you ask me!

It does not look good on her at all. It makes her face look square and a little chubby, which she is not at all as we all know. I kinda did the same last year and it was not flattering on me either. She should have gone for the length that Gwyneth and Liv Tyler are wearing now. This bob thing looks awesome on very tiny and skinny people, like Victoria Beckham, in my opinion.

She's adorable no matter what, but I think that her long hair looked better. This makes her neck look kind of thick IMO, although when she had short hair before I never thought so, so maybe it's just the picture.

I think she looks amazing! I love that the bob is going nowhere. It's a classic and needs to be treated as such. In other news, I'm pretty sure I own that top.
