Do You Love Whoopie Enough to Smell Like It?

I have a love affair with frosting. Seriously, I will wait until the corner piece is being served so that I can maximize my frosting-to-cake ratio. And FarmHouse Fresh's Whoopie! White Velvet Shea Butter Cream ($30) has an authentic scent that truly makes me want to run to grab a spoon. I'm not hugely into wearing dessert-y scents, but if you are, this white velvet cream and layer cake scent will make you smell like a pie of the same name. With cocoa butter, jojoba and soybean oils, it has a rich consistency without being greasy. I'm wondering, do you like gourmand-based scents or are they just not for you?

I usually don't love dessert-like smells, but this line is fantastic. The Whoopie cream smells perfectly sweet. Plus when I tried it my skin felt sooo soft, truly like velvet.

I guess there's a few edible scents I like. I do not like anything from Philosophy, though! Yuck! There's a new scent at Bath and Body Works that's part of their summer vanillas-- the berry one-- and it smells like a strawberry milkshake. It seems like a little girl scent, but couldn't help myself, I bought it haha. I want to drink it every time I use it :D

Certain food smells/flavors I LOVE having in cosmetic form. For instance, I used to get this cinnamon bun-flavored shampoo/body wash from Philosophy. When you took a hot shower or bath with it, it was like a warm cinnamon bun all over. Mmmm. And it looks just like the frosting you put on those things. But some flavors, eh, not so much. Plus if it's not made right it just kinda smells funny. I have a funky hot chocolate-flavored hand cream and it's not going anywhere, I think it's hiding in the back of my cabinet.

I used to love desserty-smelling scents (remember Jessica Simpson's "Dessert" line?? ) but as it turns out, once I'd slather the lotion on my legs and arms, eventually but the clothes in my laundry basket, I got ANTS in my laundry!! It was awful!! So, I threw it all out and don't use dessert smelling products anymore.
