Sometimes the hot new thing isn't so hot, as is apparently the case with Revlon DoubleTwist Volumizing Mascara ($9). Reader mariacall had a bad experience with the stuff, and says:
"I saw the commercials and magazine ads for this and rushed out to get it, because I thought it would work really well. I bought it in the Blackened Brown shade. The only word I can use to describe it is disgusting; the brush itself comes out a clumped mess that you can't even touch to your eyes, and when you do, you'll definitely want to take it off. I've never used a worse mascara and could have had better results with a dollar store brand. Save your money."

Ughhhh I totally agree, I bought this stuff and had the same experience. It only cost me $7, and it was a double pack, but I have absolutely no use for the second tube. I hate when this happens, it feels like such a waste!

2Revlon's never had much luck with their mascaras, and now it seems they've put the final nail in the mascara market coffin as less and less people get sucked in by their gimmicks.

I know that some people are able to do that
with Rite-Aid at least. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to drugstore mascara, only Covergirl and Maybelline can do it right.
3I totally agree with that review. This is the the worst mascara I've ever used. Ended up throwing it away, and I am not a wasteful person. Please save your money and your time, and don't believe those Jessica Alba ads.
4Don't bother with this mascara. It makes your eyes itchy and it flakes all over your face. It was so clumpy! I am so unhappy with this mascara. I will never buy revlon again!
5I also bought this mascara. It is garbage. I had high hopes but it clumps and it is a disaster!
6I agree with the first review. Very clumpy and impossible to remove.
