I get darkness under my eyes, so I'm a fan of brighteners, which liven up the under-eye area in a flash. Instant refreshment. Reader Laratf highly recommends Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener, and here's why:

It's by far the best brightener/concealer I've used. It's not just sheer shimmer that makes you look like a freak in photos (anyone else face that problem?), it provides good coverage, stays in place, and brightens without making you look sick. I'm really pleased with it.

i put this on top of my concealer and it works great...not enough coverage for my dark circles though!

this stuff is AMAZING. I am extremely fair and it is not too dark. it is dewy and slightly sheer, so I think it works on all skin types. definitely fakes a long night of sleep! :)
