A character's hair and makeup play an integral part in making a film so memorable. The following ladies' movie personas have become part of the canon for romance, whether from decades of renown or more recent pop culture success. If you're searching for a definitively romantic look of your own, especially this Valentine's Day, there's no better place to draw inspiration.
I liked Elizabeth Taylor's look in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof too.
2I agree with Urban Bohemian; how could you leave out Maggie the Cat??!! Actually; any look of Elizabeth Taylor; she is literally one one the most beautiful woman of all time. I would also submit write-in votes for Catherine Zeta-Jones in The Mask of Zorro, Rita Hayworth in Gilda, Rita Hayworth in The Lady from Shanghai, Jean Seberg from Breathless (Un Bout de Souffle), Cameron Diaz in The Mask; never mind; there are way too many...
3Claire Danes from Romeo and Juliet. I agree w/bryseana, Rosemary's hairdo was quite great.
4That wedding look Claire Danes spotted has been my fave ever since I saw it in the theatres; and Anne Hathaway's hairstyles in The Devil Wears Prada
5Dorothy Dandridge was so beautiful.
6I own a Dell Inspiron e1505 laptop, and recently I purchased a new battery on eBay. My computer won't recognize it and says I am only on AC Power. I updated my bios and this did nothing. I am running XP service pack 3. Anyone know the issue / solution? I do not want to buy a $200 batter from dell that will die in a year like my last one.

I love Mia Farrow's hair from Rosemary's Baby. I think she cut it without the director's permission. It was a great decision on her part. Or maybe that's Demi Moore I'm thinking of.
