Love It or Hate It? Salma Hayek's Wrap-Around Braid

Since this isn't a look you'd usually find on Salma Hayek, I just had to point it out. She usually goes for an ethereal goddess or a sophisticated and sexy look, not something quite this constructed. For the record, I can not believe how big braids are this Summer, can you? What do you think of this milkmaid-braid hairstyle on Salma? Do you like it or would you have preferred to see her hair styled another way?

I have liked this hairstyle on other celebs in the past but to me it just doesn't suit Salma - she seems too sophisticated to pull this one off.

I love it. I like how she's paying homage to Mexico with her hair like this. It reminds me of home and it's different than the blonde/brown highlighted wavy hair.
