The Scent of a Summer Day: Marc Jacobs Grass Splash

If you haven't figured it out by now, I am a big Marc Jacobs fan. Who isn't? I love his clothes, bags, shoes, pretty much anything except for those ugly boots from a couple of days ago! Being such the fan that I am, I am excited to try this new Grass Splash. Not only is it in a cool bottle, but what smells better than freshly cut grass on a summer day?

According to Saks.com:

Based on the scent of freshly cut grass that only exists during the peak of summer, this rich splash evokes the fragrance of a dense, green garden.

Top notes: freshly snapped snow peas

Middle notes: white muguet, wild flowers

Base notes: soft woods, dewy musks

The smell of grass just doesn't appeal to me, but the smell of snow peas, etc. sounds good. I just can't see myself walking around smelling like GRASS.

sanD13, I don't know if it smells good or not, I just heard about it and am excited to try it, i thought you guys would like hearing about it as well. I loved his first perfume, the one that smells like Gardenia's, so based on that I am willing to give this one a try! If anyone has tried it, please let us all know! SweetPeasMom, I think that's a great idea, let me think some more about how that would work and then get someting started!

I love Marc Jacobs. But does this actually smell of grass or more a fresh flowery scent. Because I don't think I'd want to smell of grass.

fabsugar, I love this fab finds thing. It has really sparked my imagination. I really like the "assignments" for weekend outfits or dollar amounts. What an awesome idea! Now if only you could tell me what shapes I should be looking for to best fit my body. Do you think you could do a user submitted photoof our body and tell us what would look best and why? I love it when they do that on What Not To Wear!
