Selena Gomez's New Perfume and Favorite Product

Hey, it's Kirby with your fellow beauty beat. Selena Gomez is the latest star to create her own fragrance and we got the scoop. Plus, what drugstore beauty products she gets Can't live without. Selena is launching her first ever perfume and she told us why choose a signature scent as her first foray into the beauty world. I've always wanted to do a fragrance. I mean, I love scents. When I was younger I had like Mary Kate & Ashley's little body sprays in them. I always wanted too, so its just about timing and what I wanted it to represent. Many celebrities have a namesake fragrance, but Selena broke ground in the genre by reaching out her fans to help her develop the scent. I did something that no one has actually really done before. I wanted my fans to kind of have a say in it, because I told my fans all the time I go to my Twitter and stuff and, like, your opinion matters and you guys, very important. So, we do a whole contest for months where fans could go online and actually see the kind of notes that I picked out and pick it out with me and then you pick the final twelve to come out to New York and they flew in from all different parts of the world and got to sit down and pick out the fragrance with me. The fragrance is Fruity Floral and Selena let us know what to expect when it hits shelves. It's yummy, it's rich, it's classic, it's refreshing. It's all of those things and romantic because I wanted to make sure it kind of had that in it as well. So, just a little bit of everything. While perfume is Selena's beauty must have. A quicker glance into her bag reveals what she truly can't live without. A lot of ChapStick, because I always feel like I lose it, then I buy more, so then it ends up being twenty ChapSticks at the bottom of my purse. So, chapstick and Burt's Bees and stuff. Selena is on her way to building an empire from TV to film, music, and now beauty.
