Julianne Hough was downright celestial last night at the Safe Haven premiere. "Her entire look was inspired by her Alberta Ferretti dress, which was a very sheer, nude color with beautiful, subtle detailing and shimmering pieces," explained makeup artist Spencer Barnes. "We wanted to keep the makeup in line with that magical, ethereal feeling — nothing too strong."
To give Julianne a natural luminosity, Barnes applied Votre Vu Vu-On Rouge in Bouquet Rose ($20) on the cheeks with his fingers for a soft and sheer color. He also used the same product on the lips, but with a brush for a deeper color. Barnes complemented the rosy flush with bronzer on the cheekbones, neck, and jawline for a "kiss of sun." But it was the eye makeup that really made the look appear so divine. You can mimic the look by mixing three eye shadows in silver, brown, and rose gold on the lids.
