Side-Parted Braid Updos Are Trendy For 2011
Trend Alert: The Un-Milkmaid Braid
by Jaime Richards 4
Move over, milkmaid-style braids, because there's a new kind of braid in town. In lieu of this traditional style of braiding, which wraps around the front of the hair much like a headband, people are wearing parted-to-the-side, braided-on-the-side updos. While out and about in LA, Gwen Stefani funkified the style with chunky braids casually swept to the back, while Emily Blunt opted for a more structured take on the trend, and Diane Kruger went for a softly tousled version. Will you be wearing this look, too?
