Smoky Eye Trend: SAG Awards Makeup 2013

On the red carpet at the SAG Awards, the eye makeup was dark and dusky. Stars like Jessica Paré, Marion Cotillard, Kerry Washington, and Elisabeth Moss all wore a classic smoky eye, but each in a different way. Jessica decided on a winged look with a mix of dark brown and bronze shadows. Marion's eye look used dark cat-eye liner smudged with a shimmery champagne shade, while Kerry lightened up the traditional smoky eye with a gray and silver on both lids and underneath the eyes. And finally, Elisabeth smeared heavy black liner to create a dark look that was brightened at the inner corners. With a multitude of ways to wear dark shadow, you can leave the traditional black smoky eye behind.
