Sunsilk Is Being Discontinued in the US

If you're a fan of Sunsilk hair care and you live in the States, bad news: at the end of the year the brand's maker, Unilever, will discontinue it here. No word on why the brand is being pulled, but like Max Factor and Shu Uemura before it, it'll remain on shelves in most other parts of the globe. For the next three months, you'll still be able to get Sunsilk at drugstore.com and at some Walmart locations. Are you going to miss Sunsilk, or will you soldier on without it?

I hate that news I like sunsilk I'm soooooooo...... Sad I hope they bring back in the U.S. No wonder I been look every where I can't find it.that sucks!!!

All I can say is this sucks! I have been doing hair for over 35 years and this is the first product I ran out to buy after receiving a sample. It really works and is a great product! I hate the fact that when you find something you like and it works the company quits making it or selling it.

I still use sunsilk, I have to order it on line, my hair is thin, and sunsilk volume shampoo and conditioner seem to have changed my hair, the lenth, the shine, the body, pantene did not do for me. I'm so disappointed, I want to know the real truth why it's not on sale in the USA.

Sunsilk was the ONLY product That would agree with me. All the others cause a severe allergic reaction. What am I going to do?????????

WTF!!!! After 31 years of battling frizz and trying to manage a head full of curls I finally found something that works. The 24-7 worked wonders on my hair. And now you MF's wanna take it away?! I am so pissed right now, you have no idea! I have like 16 bottles at home in California but right now I'm in Connecticut for over a month and I, for some retarded reason, only brought 1 bottle with me. Now I'm totally screwed! Unilever I HATE YOU!!!!! Why would you discontinue the product in the US but continue to sell it in other countries??? That sounds Racist to me!!! lol

Dangit!! I love the sunsilk 24/7 straighten up creme... my hair's gonna die without it! Terrible news... does anyone know of a product that works as well?

I LOVE SUNSILK AND SO DOES ALL MY DAUGHTER'S. I GOT THEM USING IT AND EACH LOVED THE SMELL AND HOW FLUFFY IT MADE YOUR HAIR. JUST A GOOD PRODUCT. COULDN'T THE MAKERS MAKE AN EXCEPTION AND KEEP IT HERE. ARE AT LEAST GIVE A MAILING ADDRESS WHERE WE COULD SEND OFF FOR A CASE OR SOMETHING. I IIVE IN LOUISIANA,AND CANNOT FIND SUNSILK NOW CAN SOMEONE HELP?

I've never used it, but I've always heard awesome things. Sigh. I know how Sunsilk lovers feel. Max Factor's demise in the U.S. made me very, very sad.

Its the only shampoo that both smells good and actually gets my hair clean!! :(
