Tarte 10th Anniversary Eye Shadow Palette Review

Tarte Cosmetics is turning 10 this year, and to celebrate the anniversary, it's releasing a bunch of limited-edition treats. We got our hands on a big eye shadow palette, the Ten Limited Edition Collector's Palette ($44), and it's a pretty good deal for what you get. All 10 shades are very wearable, especially on women with warm undertones; they're not as high on pigment payoff as a comparable Illamasqua or Urban Decay shadow, though. Their staying power, however, is excellent — even without primer — and the minimal creasing makes them great for daytime wear. I also absolutely love the longer-wearing eyeliner that comes with the palette. It stayed put nicely even though I used it to waterline. There's also a mini mascara, which would be nice in a clutch or for sleepovers. Overall: a good deal, cute, and nice for daytime.
