Don't want to look like a hot
mess! Just shimmery gold eyeshadow and mascara will look nice. USE LINER and fully line the lips...sometimes I line just a little outside to make my lips appear fuller. Not "Lisa Rinna"

After lining, and applying lipstick, BLOT and use loose powder
to dab on top...it'll make the color stay longer. Apply a second coat of lipstick on top of the loose powder. Use gloss after you're done! Ta daaa

14Laura Mercier's Truly Red; it is, as the name suggests, a very true red color that doesn't change to pink or orange once applied.
15MAC Russian Red for a serious, night out red (it's high maintenance, matte, and bold). For daytime (or summer), I like Estee Lauder Pure Color lipstick in Nectarine which is sheer and easy to wear, but certainly red.

The BEST RED is Clinique Butter Shine lipstick in Parisian Red. It is bright with blue undertones (I prefer them to orange) and makes lips soft and shiny. It is the only red I wear!

25This has always been a bit tricky for me. I'd describe my skin as light olive so while it's in the warm family it's also on the light side, so I'm never sure if I'm cool- or warm-toned, but my skin has more yellow undertones than pink. Soo my go-to reds are MAC Dubonnet and NYC Sheer Red.

29I just bought Maybelline Color Sensational in Red Revival and it really impressed me. Great color, smooth texture and not drying. I look forward to wearing it when I want a brighter red. It was a bit difficult to track down, however! My old standby is a discontinued dark blue-based red with a lot of moisture, and I still haven't found a suitable replacement.
30It was a universally flattering blackebrry tinted shea butter from l'Occitane which they discontinued for no apparent reason!
31Oh, and it doubled as a great blusher!
