Textured Nails Were One of 2010's Hottest Trends
2010's Hottest Nail Trend: Textured Nails
by POPSUGAR Beauty 1
Nail art has exploded in popularity over the past couple of years, but in 2010, the textured nail look took things in an artsy, sophisticated new direction. We saw everything from artfully resurfaced polish to lace overlays and "trash" manicures like this junked-up look from the Fall/Winter 2010 Cushnie Et Ochs show. Even outside of nail art, chunky glitter and matte and wax finish polishes reflected an increasing concern with texture. It's fascinating to see a trend like this evolve, but more than anything, we like it because it's fun, creative, and even the artistically uninclined can make something cool.
