Think Pink: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Along with Black Honey lipstick, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is one of Clinique's cult classics. The fragrance-free lotion is lightweight enough to use on oily skin, but moisturizing enough to give dry skin a boost.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Clinique has created a 6.7 ounce bottle of the stuff for $35. Ten dollars for each bottle sold will go to the Breast Cancer Research Fund. The limited-edition packaging features a bauble with three charms: a silver Clinique “C”, a miniature 3-Step skin care set, and a pink ribbon.

Bibibella69, I also use the Dramatically Different Gel moisturizer instead of the regular formula, have for awhile now. I will never use another day moisturizer, it's the perfect consistency and never feels heavy on the skin.

For those who find the original Dramatically Different cream to thick and rich you can now use the Dramatically Different Gel Formula. It does the same as the original but is light and cool when applied. If you hap happen to have some of the original and don't use it on the face, use it as hand cream. It is the best for dry hands.

Dramatically Different Lotion is one of those products that I have given several chances and really want to love. Unfortunately I tend to break out whenever I use it. I do love that Clinique is donating a good chunk of the proceeds to the BCRF though, and the company's charitable spirit is what will keep me buying some of their other great products :-)

I just bought a brand new bottle of this. If I had known they were going to do the donation bottle, I would have waited. Oh well. I use the gel one, for oily skin. I love it. It's the only moisturizer I have found that I can use in the summertime. The only thing it's missing is sunscreen.

Macys has a Gift with Purchase event at the Clinique counter right now. I really love the Tender Heart lipstick that is in the Gift with Purchase.

I don't really like this lotion--I find it too thick and goopy, almost like applying mayonnaise on one's face!! No comparison to a product like Lancome's Bienfait Total for example...
