Think Pink: Tweezerman Petite Tweeze Set

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, every weekday I'll bring you a beauty item that benefits the cause. I'll also fill you in on how much money from each sale goes to support breast cancer research and prevention, so you'll be able to choose accordingly. And of course, if you have any suggestions for products, let me know!

Let's start the month off with Tweezerman Petite Tweeze Set ($25). The three-piece set includes a pink-ribbon leather case and mini slanted and pointed tweezers. Yes indeed — Carol's Daughter makes some lip glosses that help raise funds for Lupus research. Not sure about diabetes, but if I find something, I'll let everyone know!

i agree something the fundraising..comes from weird sources..how about for diseases like Lupus & Diabetes..do you know if any retailers raise money for that?

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. My maternal grandmother had to have the same thing done. I'm running across all kinds of "huh?" BCA products so far. I think it's important to figure out how much money is actually going for the cause. I'll do my best to find out and let everyone know!

I totally understand the need for breast cancer research. My Paternal grandmother had a double masectomy. That said, yesterday i am walking through linens and things and i see...a pink handled Knife set with the pink ribbon on it. cmon now! whats next? Pink ribboned lawnmowers?
