The Today Show Goes Makeup-Free

In further celebrities-without-makeup news, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford decided to do an entire makeup-free show this morning. They also got the rest of NBC's lady anchors and various viewers to go bare as well. Unsurprisingly, they were all totally gorgeous and had perfect skin. Still, though, it's nice to see a natural woman once in a while. I'm actually more impressed with this than with the recent Jessica Simpson shoot, because TV lights are notoriously unforgiving, and there's no picking out the "good" shots when you're sitting in front of an audience for several hours. Kathy Lee has eyeliner, mascara on, she looks like a dog with or without make up.

there was a close-up shown fairly early yesterday, maybe even before the fourth hour began that you could see clumps of mascara stuck to her eyelashes, and you know she doesn't look bad at all until she opens her mouth, it's that cheating liar obnoxious personality that is so unappealing

What is the point of this "no make-up" phase? Seriously? When did make-up become something undesirable? Many products have sunscreen which is actually beneficial to your skin.If these women were serious, they would have their breast implants removed as well....gimme a break.

Yeah Kathie looks like she's wearing something.. but dang if it isn't enough! That's about as makeup less as she can go so I'll give her that. I do love this no makeup revolution going on but there are deffinately days when I look in the mirror and recoil in horror because sometimes your face just needs SOMETHING.

Agree with others Kathie Lee definitely has something around her eyes (maybe tinted lashes?). They both look pretty damn good though. I'm sure those studio lights are pretty harsh.

Kathy Lee's eyelashes were not natural. If she didn't have on mascara then she must have been wearing the false eyelashes that are glued onto your natural lashes. Technically no make-up but still an enhancement.

every single woman shown looks fantastic without makeup. some, so much even, that i wonder if they are really makeup free! LOL but kudos to them for braving the world with the face they were born with!
