Thanks to women like Caitlyn Jenner, Jazz Jennings, and Gigi Gorgeous, the world is starting to understand the transgender community. Many of the life stories of transmen and transwomen will absolutely break your heart, but Mashable's recent dive into the world of transgender teens brought us to tears.

In a special video, Mashable had the 11 teens they interviewed send a message to their future selves, and the results were incredibly heartfelt. "I hope you're in a good place," said 17-year-old Zane. "Be happy, please, because I'm miserable right now," he added. Zane revealed in his personal interview that he fears being kicked out by his parents.

"I hope that your father has come around and is very supportive of you," said 12-year-old Charlie, as he stroked his hair. Charlie explained that he currently doesn't speak to his father, who traumatically shaved his head in third grade.

Many of the teens expressed excitement for how different they'll look in just a few years, thanks to hormone therapy. But in the meantime, they're trying to stay strong. As 19-year-old Morgan teared up, he made a plea to himself: "Just believe in yourself, and you're going to do great." Watch this video and prepare to be moved — we dare you not to use any tissues.
