Trend Alert: Bright Pink Nail Polish

More and more celebrities are jumping onto the summertime neon nail polish bandwagon. We've seen hot pink shades since April, but it seems like they are brighter and more popular than ever now. Rihanna likes pink, orange, and yellow, and yesterday we spotted Lauren Conrad and Christina Aguilera both wearing electric pink. How cute would it be if Lauren had on Whitney from Zoya's Hills-inspired collection? I usually stick with bright pink on my toes and not on the fingers, but at this weeks mani/pedi I was feeling fun and did a bright shimmery pink. Since i keep my nails shorter and squared (barely above the tips of my fingers) it looks great and fun- not trashy. I agree on super long nails, it's more than kinda gross. I have a pretty insane collection of pink nail polishes. I agree- bright pink has been around for awhile- not really a new trend.

Am I the only one or is it like 2-3 celebs wear it and they call it a trend? Besides,6 out of 10 young woman wear pink polish.

I have only one bright pink nail polish and I got it from Ulta last summer. I only wore it on my toes, but last I had it on my nails and got so many compliments. They don't even have the color this year.

I agree with emalove, it's like that with most trends though I think, everybody else is doing their own thing, but when some cool celeb starts doing it that's when it becomes trendy and cool.
