You can tell that Fall is fast approaching, because tons of celebrities have been getting serious with short, rounded, bright red nails. This week alone, Hillary Duff, Lo Bosworth, and Mel B. all sported them. A classic red in the right shade family is flattering on every skin tone, and the perfect manicure to start Autumn off right, so I've put together a bunch of the best ones out for your perusal.

New Look
Such a beautiful classic look, it can be worn effortlessly even when its not "trendy"
OPI's "I'm Not Really A Waitress" is the best red nail polish EVER!
Love this post! However, the Essie polish listed is not a bright red color. Wicked by Essie is deep, dark red. Any other suggestions for a bright red Essie color?
Thanks for the catch. For some reason the caption reads "Wicked" when the color pictured is actually Red Label, which I like because it's got a little blue in it for those of us with really cool-toned skin. Another nice red from Essie is Clam Bake; it's a very similar color to the Avon I put up.
Red was my go to color the fall/winter before last, but last year I was obsessed with dark, vampy shades. After reading this post I think I may be revisiting my favorite reds!
I just bought Essie "Bordeaux" and it looks deep in the bottle but it's a classic red on my nails. So pretty!
love !
I swear some staff member is reading the sh*t out of my beauty blogs.... I posted this a month ago! check it out! >>> http://beauty-product-junkies.bellasugar.com/4199158
I'm only wear red or black nails. Love it!
I do love me some red nails! Last year I went through a phase of red nails for about three two months. I still love it though.
I'm not a big fan of red nails, except in December and February! But I do like fingertip length nails!
I wear red year round. I have about 6 different bottles of red nail polish. It's so easy to wear and just looks glam.
Essie's Jag-u-are is nice if you aren't used to red. It has the slightest (not to be noticable) pink tone that gentles it.
