Well, that was fast. As reported earlier this week, cosmetics brand DuWop is releasing a Twilight-themed lip plumper — but instead of waiting until the Autumn release of New Moon, it's coming out now. Lip Venom V ($16) is available for pre-order, with packages shipping next week. The package contains a combination lip stain and plumper, all the better to look vampy. According to DuWop:
This product should be shaken before use to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds and applied repeatedly until lips are plumped, revitalized and the desired intensity of color has been reached.
Oddly, the packaging reminds me less of a bloodsucking dreamboat and more of Angelina Jolie wearing Billy Bob's blood in a vial back in the day. And last time I checked, the blending of the human and vampire worlds resulted in a bloody death. But for the 700 zillion Twihards out there, details like that are unlikely to stop them from buying. Will you be one of them?

1I hate lip venom. It's never worked for me. It just burns but doesn't plump.

3I will wait for reviews/photos to be posted by others however I am quite interested in the product. I adore the original Lip Venom and love the look of lip stain(s), so this could be a fab item. (and I am a Twilight fan however I would not purchase a product over a connection to the books/films.)

10personally I didnt buy Lip venom for the plumping it did however ad a pinkish tint to my lips as the product claims from the ingredients to cause the lips enhance their natural color, as well as using it to enhance the effect of kissing that special someone!!! Its a kiss they'll never forget!!!!
11Hmm this is interesting. I like Lipvenom and the way it kind of tinkles (more like stabbing) on my lips, as if to prove it's working. But I wonder what the results would be like if plumper and lip stain is mixed... While I love Twilight and the perfect vampires, I'm not so sure I want to have lips that look blood-stained.. Love their product description though, it is sure to win 'Twihards' over.

honestly, the books aren't any good, and all my twilight obsessed friends said that the movie wasn't that good either.
third, i wouldn't want to use the same product that millions of 12 year old girls are using in hopes to someday kiss edward cullen...
I am a sucka for these types of things so I may just get it for collecting purposes.

27I just received mine yesterday, and to be honest I was so excited and when I tried it it just didn't work very well. The stain has a hard time getting onto the lips through the glossy plumper. I shook it very vigorously and it just isn't working very well. Today I tried exfoliating my lips with a toothbrush and then moisturizing with a lip balm but it didn't help at all. The stain just doesn't take and its very uneven!!

29i went to a special screening of twilight yesterday in san diego and i snagged two samples...i am in love with this stuff. it smells, tastes, and looks great. it feels great on my lips. i would have never given it a chance if it werent given to me as a sample... its worth it.

The reviews for this product on Sephora have been overwhelmingly horrible. But I'm sure that people with more money than brains will buy it anyway.
33Look at the pictures on google images. The color looks horrible. It made their mouths looked completely discolored and uneven. And you have to use half the tube to get even a hint of even color. DO NOT WANT.
34I got mine today, and it's a very strange product. It has this strong cinnamon flavor which burns at first! The stain is meant to go on unevenly, giving you the appearance of blood stained lips. It's definitely not supposed to be worn everyday, everywhere, but I'm still having a lot of fun with it.
