Best actress nominee Viola Davis made a beautiful statement at the 2012 Oscars. The Help star let her hair go natural, with just a hint of tint to lighten her locks. A shiny nude lip and bronzed cheeks showed off her complexion, and glittering emerald eyeliner accentuated her green drop earrings. All in all, it's a festively formal look for an actress who's coming off of a SAG Awards win for her role in The Help. Does she win your applause for her Oscars look, too?

@curLRocker I liked it except for the slashy bit around the knee. Thought she looked good, but part of me had hoped for a fuchsia or orange, something with even more pow! to it. Hopefully it won't be the last time Viola Davis is nominated for an Oscar.

@Annie Tomlin I have no doubts that this is a look that here to stay. I myself have been natural for over 6 years. I see more and more women going without chemicals. It's nice that hollywood is embracing this movement.

Love her hair -- saw her like this in an editorial recently and she looked stunning! But that dress... My Lord, what an atrocity! I refuse to believe that Vera Wang had anything to do with it!
