Reese Witherspoon's 3 Kids Are Basically Her Clones, and We Have Photos to Prove It

Reese Witherspoon is an actor, author, producer, and entrepreneur, among other things, but at home, she's a cool mom to three beautiful children — who may or may not be her straight-up clones. While Witherspoon is constantly sharing snaps of herself and her kids looking happy as ever, the mom of three and star of Apple TV+'s "The Morning Show" is also known for her brutally honest approach to parenting. And we've got to say, we admire her for it all.

Witherspoon's oldest daughter, Ava Phillippe, also sometimes shares photos with her mom, and it's often uncanny to see the resemblance between the pair. In September 2022, she posted an adorable photo of herself, her mom, and her grandmother Betty, and it's so sweet seeing how much the trio look alike. "Blondies at brunch," she wrote in the caption. In July 2021, Ava shared a tribute to her mother, writing, "This is the gorgeous woman who taught me about the power of graciousness, love, ambition, and hard work. She inspires me every day to live with gratitude for the life I've been given and compassion for others. I'm thinking about her a little extra today, that's all."

Ava Elizabeth Phillippe

Ava, who was born on Sept. 9, 1999, is Witherspoon's oldest child and her first with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. While Ava has always resembled her mama, she and Witherspoon look scarily alike now that she's a young adult.

After Ava raved about Witherspoon on her birthday in 2019, her mom wrote back on Instagram, "How did I get so lucky to have a daughter like you?"

Witherspoon also got sentimental when she spoke to Ellen DeGeneres in 2019 about sending Ava off to college. "It's weird when your children go away to college. It's hard. I never imagined how it felt for my mom." She added, "I might have gone into her empty room, laid down on her bed, and cried."

On Sept. 11, Witherspoon shared a sweet photo for Ava's 24th birthday, writing, "It's the joy of my life to watch you grow and become the most inspiring, thoughtful, creative, dynamic, funny woman. I have learned so much from being your mom. How lucky is that ??!! I love you to the stars and back!"

Deacon Reese Phillippe

Witherspoon's second child, Deacon — whose dad is also Ryan Phillippe — was born on Oct. 23, 2003. Although we love his unique first name, the fact that his middle name is the same as his mom's first (though technically it's her middle name, too, as her full given name is Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon) is too cute!

Deacon graduated high school in 2022 and is currently attending New York University. He's also diving into acting, as he previously appeared in a minor role in Netflix's "Never Have I Ever." A few days before the season three premiere on Aug. 11, 2022, Witherspoon shared a photo of her son hugging her on Twitter. "This hug made my whole year!" she wrote.

On Oct. 22, Witherspoon celebrated her son's birthday, writing on Instagram, "HUGE Birthday wishes to my boy @deaconphillippe !! Actually not a boy, he is a 20 yr old man today ! Deacon, you are such a ray of sunshine, love and positivity in this world. Keep shining that wonderful light on us all!" Deacon has been spotted out and about with another nepo kid: Will Ferrell's son Magnus.

Tennessee James Toth

Witherspoon's youngest child, Tennessee — her first and only with ex-husband Jim Toth — was born on Sept. 26, 2012. Tennessee is definitely the child who appears on Witherspoon's Instagram most, and by the looks of it, he's growing into looking just like his mama, as his older siblings have before him. He does, however, have the same middle name as his dad's first (a name that was probably easier to learn how to spell than his first!).

On his seventh birthday in 2019, Witherspoon wrote about her adorable boy in a now-deleted Instagram post: "Boy, this kid makes me laugh! Happy 7th birthday to my sweet boy Tennessee. Here's to a day filled with chocolate cake, Beyblades, and dog cuddles!"

For Tennessee's birthday in September, Witherspoon wrote on Instagram, "Happy 11th Birthday to my wonderful son, Tenn! I love your curiosity, your endless energy and your playful sense of humor. Everyday you make me think more about the world around us and dream even bigger."
