Here's an excerpt from OnSugar blog icyabstract:
I hardly show pictures/footage of myself with glasses because I seldom wear them out of the house unless I am too lazy to be bothered or if I am going somewhere nearby. Don't get me wrong; I don't see anything wrong with glasses nor do I hate them. I just feel that with glasses on I don't usually do very much with my makeup. (Like no bright colors or heavy liner, so I tend to wear glasses on days I am too lazy to bother with much makeup.) Today I was going to the library to do some research for school and I figured I really didn't want to fuss with contacts or makeup. So at long last here's a Look of the Day guest starring my plastic frames.

It's an incredibly simple and default neutral eye, but just to show you how I like to wear my makeup when I'm donning glasses, read more.

Yes, no mascara! I find that with glasses at least I don't like to apply mascara because it causes my lashes to feel odd against the frame of my glasses. I know in most cases it's more important to use mascara to brighten and open your eye up, but I don't like it.

Haha agreed on the mascara. I can feel my lashes batting against the lenses. This is a very pretty look though, glasses or no.
Simple and fresh.
1awwww you're so cute in glasses!
2Love it! Need to try this sometime. Thanks!
3great tips! Love the look & I LOVE your glasses - may I ask what brand are they?
4I have the same problem with mascara when I wear glasses! My lashes would constantly hit the lenses on my glasses, so I don't really wear glasses out much. I'm glad someone else has the same problem. Great tips!
5Same here! With mascara my lashes brush my glasses, even though it always annoyed me I still thought I must wear mascara if I was going to wear any other eye makeup. I thought the two HAD to go together. or you should wear no eye make up at all. Glad to see that you can in fact get away with no mascara and just some eye shadow and liner and it still looks good! I think I might try this look today in fact!
6Great look! Can you share the brand of your glasses??? ... so cute
7i have the same problem too, lashes sweeping at the lenses!
8I love that look. So pretty!
9I love this! I usually wear mascara-but I wait a couple minutes before putting my glasses back on so it dries.
10I guess I must have the smallest lashes ever, because I wear glasses all the time and have never had a problem with them brushing up against the lenses. Weird, nice look though (I would just add mascara since I don't have the issue with the lenses)
11Ooh super late on chancing upon this. Thanks for the feature (:
Klyn & kaybear: As for the brand of my glasses, the rim says Polo Smith, I've tried googling it and I can't find much about it.
12I approve and like!
13I actually love wearing mascara with my glasses! I wear them basically 24/7 and found that lotsa black mascara gives you this sort of doll-eyed look...I love it.
