What Do You Think of Dove's Pro-Age Ad?

I love the name of Dove's new skincare and hair brand, Pro-Age — as in, the opposite of anti-age. This ad wasn't shown on TV, because it showed too much skin, but I think it's wonderful. Watch the video and tell me: What do you think of this commercial?

Above someone mentioned that this was broadcast in Canada, so that is why I was shocked when I read that this wasn't on TV because I have seen this add. I love it and I am happy that Dove is doing good things (all around) to promote healthy and positive body images for women!

FINALLY. I think is fantastic. We put to much emphasis on not growing older (plastic surgery, botox, etc) and not being proud of our age. Kudos to Dove!

This ad was broadcast in Canada. I think this campaign is wonderfully refreshing. Two thumbs up!

Great job Dove...pro women of all ages! I saw the making of this commercial on the Oprah show and was very impressed....real women making a difference showing that beauty is ageless.

I just love Dove's marketing campaign. I started buying Dove products solely because of a "real beauty" ad I saw in a magazine. I'd rather support a company which promotes the concept that women are beautiful as they are than a company which presents a perfect face or body to sell their stuff.

eh, i got nothing against dove. this is an alright commercial but they're still trying to sell you anti-ageing products. it reminds me of the "real beauty" ads that show healthy looking women but still reminds the viewwer that she has cellulite and should buy cellulite cream. they get no plus points from me but no negative ones either.

My mom uses this lotion now, and her skin feels like silk. I was jealous as it was sofer than mine and i have been using that Olay rescue dry skin stuff in the purple bottle. I am switching even if I am only 26. that is some good ltion!_________________________________________________________Why don't you wear the face you have when I am not around?

My mom uses this lotion now, and her skin feels like silk. I was jealous as it was sofer than mine and i have been using that Olay rescue dry skin stuff in the purple bottle. I don't know why they don't have it on TV here in the states. They allow men and women to show their butts after 9 at night on TV shows. As a 45 year old women I am pleased to see that beauty is for all ages. The reality is we all age whether we want to or not. Why not age gracefully? ;)

I appreciate what they are trying to do, but I would rather not see naked people spring up on my tv in a commercial. On a related note, I tried some of this at the gym and found it kind of runny. I wasn't impressed with the lotion.

I think it is a great idea, my Mum goes on about how she's turning grey premature (She's 45 - she started going grey about 6 ish years ago - I'm 21 and i'm going grey!!!) My grandma's are about 65-70 and I think they are beautiful - each wrinkle on their face tells a story, it shows the wisdom that they have. I'm getting married on Saturday and My Dad's Mum dyed her hair especially it was supposed to be kinda ash brown sort of colour except it didn't quite work on her white hair - i think she is lovely the way she is. Pro-age products are especially to take care of older skin rather than trying to make it younger. It's a great idea!!!! Well Done!!!!

They show this ad here in Germany, too. I think it is good, way better than these Nivea ads, where 30-year olds with (dyed) grey hair try to sell you the anti-age stuff. Now I am curious, is it only this ad with the old women showing skin, that is not shown on TV or all the Dove ads? I mean, there are others, where also a lot of skin is shown.--Of all the things I've lost, my mind I miss the most.
