What Do You Think of Flat-Ironed Hair on Guys?

"Oh hi, everybody! It's me, Christian Siriano — you know, the big Project Runway winner? (You may also know me by my diva name, Ferocia Coutura.) So anyway, I was just fiercely hangin' at an auto show, when my friend Bella took a look at my hair. 'Christian,' she said to me, 'Between you and Pete Wentz, I think there may be a new hair trend for skinny, pale punk-ish boys.' I so concur, because I am a trendsetter. Armed with our flat irons and hair spray, Pete and I shall out-fierce everyone else in a may-jah way. But Bella wants to know what you think of this look on guys. Is the flat-ironed look something you hope catches on with men? Or is it a hot tranny mess?"

When I think of a hot tranny mess, I think of humongo va-va voom hair-do's. So, I think the flat ironed look is def more polished.

Haha this post made my day, Bella! :P And I voted for Hot tranny mess.. This reminds me of the time I went to an Interpol concert last summer. The concert was brilliant, but the crowd was made of 19yo boys with guy liner, flat-ironed hair, identical pointy shoes and jeans so skinny they couldn't walk normally!! :o *shivers*

I don't mind a mild flat ironed look, like to give it some texture and an interesting look. But when it's taken too far (like Christian) it's an immediate turn off. I don't want a guy who spends more time on his hair than I do.

I think it works on Christian. And he's gay so there's no reason for me to find it attractive. On a straight guy I might not think it's cute, but who knows?
