I loved this slideshow-- perfect to fill my ache for spring in the midst of some wintry weather. My absolute favorite flower fragrance is lilac and I was hoping to see it on here. We had a gigantic lilac bush in our yard when I was little and the smell would waft all around. To this day, I can't smell lilacs without feeling happy!

I'm really interested in how scents affect you, too, Styrch. Jasmine is one of my favorites to talk about because a couple of studies have suggested that its absolute is as effective as some antidepressants at lifting mood, and it's also a known sedative. I'll definitely do a piece on scent in emotional augmentation if you're interested!

Sort of feel like this article is titled incorrectly. It's not what the scent says about you, but what your favorite scent symbolizes. I was hoping this article would have more to do with how scents affect you or why you might be choosing certain scents. Oh well. But it was an entertaining read.
