What's Your New Year's Resolution?

Happy 2009! I hope you had a smashing time while ringing in the New Year. It's the year of the ox in Chinese astrology. Since this sign is all about achieving success through hard work, I have a feeling 2009 is going to bring exciting challenges and opportunities to shine. This year, I plan to write more, volunteer more, and take some freakin' risks with my hair color for the first time in years. What are your resolutions — beauty or otherwise?

Spend my money on beauty such as hair care products(I have enough lippies to last me for three years...). Become more of an adventurous person. Also, I forgot to mention to spend my money on clothing...lol I need some new threads *laughs at the old term*

Take care of myself. Finally lose weight, drink more water, use SPF every day, play around with my look, and spend time on me relaxing and taking nice bubble baths.

Same here, bellasugar! I'm going to take some risks with my hair color for the first time in my life on Saturday. and a bunch more, of course.

Hooray for color risks! I think I'm going to let my gray streak (I'm 26, so it's not something that usually pops up) grow out a bit, and then go in and get it put back in so that I don't walk around with 2" of shiny white/gray hair in front of my face. I should embrace my slightly funky genetics and see what it does, rather than hide it with a box of Feria.

Listen up, hey, I have a few too:Finish thesis and get couple of papers published.Land a (reasonably)great job, save major dough.Get rid of acne FOREVER (thanks accutane).Roll back from pant size 2 -> size 0.Start playing bass again (or reconnect with all hobbies I rocked before falling into a rut)Minimize procrastinating (listen to Pink Floyd's "Time" when slacking)Keep safe, healthy and make the most of 2009 ..Phew.. quite a do-or-die list eh??Happy New Year, Sugar readers and friends :D
