What's Your Take on the Pointy Nail Trend?

Recently, pointy-shaped nails have appeared on the hands of celebrities from Fergie to Keri Hilson to Rihanna — and on many stars wearing half-moon manicures. Pointed talons also made several appearances on runway models walking the Fall 2010 shows. This stylishly pointy shape is perfect for elongating the fingers, but is this look for you?

I love having my nails long but I don't care for pointy. I wear my nails red alot and I just don't think they'd look as sexy if they were pointy.

Haha my 80 year old grandmother started doing this to protect herself after she was mugged a few years ago. I love her!

I can't stand those square nails that everyone gets at salons. Mine are rounded.

it will be interesting to see how this goes. maybe it will grow on me. i think it is just a matter of getting used to it. once on vacation i saw a woman sporting long pointy toenails. THAT looked bizarre.

I don't wear my nails like POINTY but they're much more round oval than is common. I hate the flat square with rounded edges look, I think it makes fingers look stubby and doesn't mimic the natural shape mine grow in.
