Where Do You Store Your Makeup Brushes?

The roll-up pouch containing my makeup brushes has been getting a little overcrowded as of late, so I started storing my seldom-used brushes in an old pencil container. (The cup kind, not the kiddie pencil sort.) This got me to thinking about other storage options for my collection of these trusty cosmetic tools. Whether it's a well-stocked train case for hard-core makeup users, or a cute compartmentalized pouch, where do you keep your makeup brushes?

I store my brushes in those mini 3-draw storage plastic bins/draws! I don't like having them open....too exposed to stuff in the air!

i found a really pretty candel holder one thats thin and tall. it was too tall so i put rock the kind u use for a fish tank and put all my brushes. its a really pretty creative and cheap way to store you brushes.

Yoga - If you have a problem, so do I. Right now I have one train case that not everything fits in. I think I need to get a second case, one for more everyday use and one for special occasion makeup.

Mine are in a silver pencil cup near my makeup. The brushes I don't use are in a box.

I place my brushes in this gorgeous hand made white pencil holder made out of croatian stone. It basically has a limestone feel to it. Its simply stunning!

I like standing mine up in a ceramic wide, deep container. Especially handy when drying them after washing them.

In my makeup drawer as well. I like the idea of a vase with glass beads on the counter.

Kinda fancy silver thing also. I love my makeup and treat with the utmost respect since I spend plenty of $ on it. Same as I do my food.

My former roommate came up with the best idea and I followed suit. She bought a silverware tray (the kind that you put in kitchen drawers) and separated out all her makeup in that! I now use one of the slots for all my brushes! Perfect!

I have a little 3-drawer Sterilite container and keep my brushes in one of the drawers. I used to keep them in a cup, and I'd love to store them like liz213 does (sounds so pretty!) but I've got several dual-ended brushes and such storage doesn't exactly work for those ones.

i keep/display my brushes like they do at sephora: in a glass rectangle vase with glass stones at the bottom to keep the brushes straight up. not only does it look fabulous on my bathroom counter, but the brushes don't get smushed and are able to be stored up right without bumping into other bristles from other brushes

Got my set at Bobbi Brown and it came with a leather pouch/case.

After one of my candles from IKEA finally burnt out (http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/80109812) I wiped all the wax off the glass, cleaned it up and chucked them in there. :)

I have a small plate on my bathroom shelf, and I rest my makeup brushes there.

I keep my brushes on my dresser in a vase we had lying around the house. My makeup case, which is just like the one in the pic, is overflowing with makeup already.
