Where Would You Get a Tattoo?

Certain stars may have star tattoos on various parts of their bodies, while others have different sizes and styles of designs on their necks. But what I'm wondering is this: If you got your own ink (or if you already have one), where would it be? Would you go the conspicuous route, or would you opt for something a bit more hidden?

I have one on my upper arm. I can show it or hide it as the situation demands.

Well.....I have a tattoo on my foot, both sides of my right ankle, ribs from my hip til under my bra line, inner right bicep, left finger, left wrist, under hairline on neck and on my left shoulder. The one on my finger is a heart so many people don't even realize its there, no one knows I have tattoos in the winter. And even in the summer I don't walk around naked so they are not all so obvious.

I have two. One on my left shoulder blade which is often visible in the summer. and one on my right hip which is only seen when in a bathing suit or nude, which is perfect because it only for me

i have one on the inside of my left heel. well, a little above the heel itself, but below the ankle. unless i'm wearing flip flops it is undetectable. i have a 2nd one on my right hip.

i've always wanted to get a tattoo, but have been at a loss of what to actually get and where. reading through this has been helpful and pushing me closer to possibly consider one!!!

I have one on the inside of my right wrist, and one on the inside of my right ankle. I was in my mid-30s by the time I got both, so I thought very carefully about placement. I'm blessed to have a job where they are not a huge issue, but for others thinking about placement... I'm amazed at how hard it is to cover the one inside of my wrist at times-- even with a wide watchband, it occasionally peeks out. (Something to think about during the "initial handshake" at job interviews!) The ankle tattoo is tricky to cover up with a skirt or dress unless I'm wearing matte black stockings or high boots, so in some industries that might be a concern as well.

i have one on the top of my foot & another on my upper back, both easily to hid if need be. i wanna get another one on the inner side of my upper arm next.

most of my tattoos are in less conspicuous places but you can still catch a glimpse of them every once in a while, which is something i like. one on each wrist, one behind each ear and one on my back. all easily hidden, but i can show them when i choose to

I've debated getting a tattoo for a few years now. I know exactly what I want, just not where I want it. I had thought about getting it on the back of my shoulder blade until someone told me if I wanted to see my own tattoo I shouldn't get it on my back. I figured that was a good point and went back to the drawing board. Current leader is on my hip, but I think that will hurt a lot.. I want something that I can show if I want to, but that is easily hidden by scrubs at work. Or a wedding dress.

the first tattoo i got is on the right side of my ribcage, from the middle of my ribcage to slightly below my hipbone, 7 ish inches wide. i now have tattoos on both forearms and wrists and i'm planning full sleeves. having visible tattoos is a big step, and people seen to feel they have the right to comment on your personal choices when you have them. i got my forearm tattoos while i was working as a waitress, and there were countless stares and quite a few comments.

I have two both are quite large but both are hidden most of the time. There are a few more I'm planning on getting just deciding on spots one will be hidden due to its size for sure but not decided on the other yet. I'm in teachers college to become an elementary school teacher so most I plan on keeping in less visible areas.

I have one on each shoulder, one below the neck of my neck, between my shoulder ones, one on my ankle and one around my belly button. I'll probably get one on my lower back or my side and possibly my other ankle

I have one on my left side (right under my armpit, next to my boob). It's pretty much completely hidden by a bra, and I think that it was the perfect place for me to get my first one. I'm thinking of getting another one on my back between my shoulder blades so it's in a spot that is more easily shown, but still not super conspicuous. My first one is the last line from The Great Gatsby ("So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past") and I think my next one would be from Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safron Foer ("If there is no love in the world, we will make a new world").

I have three, one on my inside forearm (about where a 3/4 sleeve hits), one on the top of my foot, and the biggest goes across my back, pretty much from armpit to armpit. I tried to place them all so that a shirt or socks could cover them easily, but I don't have to be half naked if I feel like showing them off :)

I'm 33 years old and have debated this over and over again. I don't have one. But, if I finally decide to stop riding the fence, it'll either be on my ankle or my lower back.

Three on my back... easily covered. One below my navel, also easily covered. One on my inner left wrist, once again, a little more visible, but easily covered when I want it to be... (bracelet, watch, any of those cover it). I am looking to get one on my foot or the back of my neck... just havent decided yet!

one of mine is on the inside of my right wrist. my watch covers it nicely when i need it. the other one is on my middle back, and it's always covered!

i have one and its behind my ear! i have long hair so i can cover it if i want to, or show it to the world!
