Which Premiere Look Do You Prefer on Julia Stiles?

At yesterday's London premiere of The Bourne Ultimatum, Julia Stiles went for a smoky-eyed evening look. But at the American premiere a couple of weeks earlier, she was more bare, save for a pop of red on her mouth. Which do you think flatters the 26-year-old more?

it's not about which one is more classic - the smoky shadow makes her look twice her age and I hate the sideswept hair. the loose strands of hair and red lip make her look cute and young...

The first one is better, but I think a part of that has to do with the quality of the photo.

i normally prefer the smokey eyed look, but the red lips look is so much better on Julia. I'm not sure whether it's the execution in that particular instance or whether the smokey-eyed thing is just not suitable to her in general though.

I like the red lips better; it looks more polished and elegant. The purpleish eyeliner takes some getting used to.

I rally don't like either one. Both looks really age her, and I think she may need a new stylist

From the photos, I like her overall look at the LA premiere better. Definitely more age-appropriate and summery (and I love her earrings!)At the London premiere she looks about 10 years older and her hair is definitely too severe in combo w/the darker makeup.Can't wait to see the movie! :)

I like the LA look, too — it is cute and fresh and age-appropriate. I know she had to wear a lot of makeup for the cameras on the red carpet in London, but the look feels a little matronly to me. Which makes me sad, 'cause I think Julia Stiles is a really intelligent woman (and was so cute in that movie, The Girl Who Learns How To Dance in Chicago).

The bad eyeliner makes her eyes look bruised and too close together, she looks sunburned, and the lipstick doesn't match. She looks great in the first picture.

My main problem with Julia Stiles look is that it's always too old and stuffy. With the red lip color, she looked like someone's grandma, but the purple is good for her. It gives her a bit of edge, which she is in DIRE need of.
