Who Looks Better Channeling Veronica Lake?

It seems as though models Claudia Schiffer and Kate Moss were channeling Veronica Lake at last night's Golden Age of Couture Gala at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Both have been in the news lately: Claudia laments the death of the supermodel, while Kate has a new fragrance. I think both women's retro glamour is gorgeous, but does one edge out the other?

I loved Claudia's dress. I would have liked to have seen it on Kate! Kate looks too dishelved, Claudia is way put together...Apparently Kate went home for the evening with that dress wrapped around her waist as a skirt, and part of it was even torn! I hope she had a good time to compensate for the distruction of that beautiful dress.

Claudia -- she has the hair right and she looks like a lady. Kate, bless her, could look like a rocker slut in silk. She's hot, but this isn't her look.
