Who Wore Red Lips Best at the amfAR Event?

At yesterday's amfAR gala in Cannes, celebrities put on their best gowns to help raise money to fight HIV/AIDS. Since one symbol of AIDS awareness is the red ribbon, it's fitting that three of the guests — all with very different personal style — slicked on bold red lipstick. Of Juliette Lewis, Dita Von Teese, and Petra Nemcova, who do you think wears the hue best?

OMG...Corona Love is right. I do see a resemblance between Dita and Petra! They're both gorgeous. Dita looks better in red lipstick though. It looks like too much on Petra. Juliet looks like she needs a shower ughhhh.

Petra. The red is more mellow looking against her tanned skin and blonde hair. Dita always wears a red lip so it's not a surprise. Juliette just looks awful, like a drug addict.

Petra. She's so pretty. Juliette looks terrible. Dita looks the same to me.

what's wierd is that all three are good and bad in different ways: Juliette's color is perfect (actually my favorite - it complements her skin fantastically), but the outfit and hair are aw-ful; Dita looks great, but that color is really ugly and there's something about her hair that makes her face look wierd (or maybe its just the angle of the camera or something); and then Petra's whole look is gorgeous - love the dress, love the boobs (haha), love the hair and makeup, but I agree with some of you that her lips don't look that red. so, anyway, I picked petra just because she looked so amazing...

I was torn initially, but I finally went with Dita because the shade she chose was so stunning & bold, but doesn't look harsh or strange. I think Petra's red, although very flattering, is a "safer" shade. Juliette Lewis...just...no.

Can't decide between Dita and Petra - they both pull it off well. Juliette has the confidence to pull it off, but I don't think that picture pulls it off. Oh well. :)
