This hairstyle looks good because JLo is as beautiful as she is. But otherwise it's really too poodle-like!

I definitely agree that some of these aren't "missteps" at all. They were in style at the time or just fun. And at this level, it's all about fun and attention.

Great slide show! I agree many of the looks were trendy during the time the photo was taken, but now seem silly. Then again, a few of them are current and still look bad (looking at you, J Lo). It will be interesting to look back on the 2000's now that this decade is almost done, and see what looks endure and which ones were mistakes.

I will say half of those were not misteps. they were perfectly acceptable at the time but looking back they are tacky. That is different than like Helena Bonham looking like she just got beaten in the head and then still came. THAT is a misstep. Dark liner with light fill on your lip wasnt a sin then. It is NOW!
