Would You Get a Beauty Treatment on Your Honeymoon?

In my experience, the majority of brides see their honeymoons as a chance to unwind and relax with the new hubby. Some prefer a tropical and remote destination where there's not much to do besides soak up the sun and smile. (I think we all know what "smile" is code for.) Others prefer to engage in various activities outside of the bedroom.

However, I'm hard-pressed to find a bride that didn't need a little bit of de-stressing after the big day. On your honeymoon, would you treat yourself to a spa treatment — or even get your husband in on a couple's massage?

we had aloe body wrap treatments after we both got sunburned. it was great! also I ended up getting a pedicure b/c my husband stepped on my big toe and the toenail was all messed up. it had to be very carefully glued back together and then filed, and painted.

A couples massage on the honeymoon sounds like a great idea to me! Its romantic & you can de-stress together.

my fiance and i are planning our wedding now, and i know that i'll probably want to get some type of pampering done while we're on our honeymoon. i think that it's just part of who i am - to get de-stressed and all that - although i can't say for sure if i'd want to have a couples massage or not.

For sure! My husband and I had a few couples massages on our honeymoon. We were staying at a boutique hotel in Costa Rica, and massages were given under a canopy in the rain forest! We could even hear the monkeys swinging over head (freaky and cool).

only if he wanted to do a couples massage - I wouldn't want to be away from him for any amount of time - that's the whole point of a honeymoon...

We didn't do anything like this on our honeymoon, not something we were really interested in...maybe a massage someday!

Definitely. I'd try to get my hubby to get a massage with me. Or he could just give me a massage. I'd love to get as many spa services as we could pack into a few hours. I'd only do it one day and not even the whole day since there are so many things I'd want to pack into the honeymoon.

at the resort we stayed at, we took advantage of a couples massage. he didn't like it nearly as much as i did, so now if i do a spa-thing while we're on vacation, he finds something equally fun for him to do that i might not be interested in.

I didn't get one but would not have been against it. I was helping my brother in law make his honeymoon plans and he picked a hotel that had a spa. He got a package that gave his wife a massage every day. I thought that was a bit much, but came to realize that that is her pleasure.

I actually got my hair cut on my honeymoon! LoL! I had grown out my hair for our wedding so I could wear it up but it was really driving me crazy so about the third day of our honeymoon, I went to the salon that was part of the resort we stayed in and got about an inch cut off of it. Best haircut I ever had! :)
