Tomorrow, Paul Mitchell's stylist schools are having Free Hugs Day, where they'll send students from more than 100 of their locations out on the street to offer passers-by free hugs. They'll be dressed in their black Paul Mitchell outfits, so if you see someone all in black with great hair hugging tons of people, don't be alarmed. It's all inspired by the Free Hugs campaign. My question is, do you like getting hugs from strangers? Some people love hugging in general, while others aren't such big fans, and a hug from someone you've never met is utterly different for many people from one given by a loved one. What do you think? Will you be wanting a free hug, or giving it a pass?

1Not during flu season, thanks. Even if the stylist isn't sick, someone they hugged prior to you might have been. Plus, it weirdly lacks all sentiment. I get my hugs at home and like it that way.
2im not a hugger and went to a paul mitchell school and when we left for the day we were bombarded by teachers and older students and i was very uncomfortable.
3I was a student of Paul Mitchell in Nashville Tennessee... we did this on 9/11 and I loved it... you would be surprised how many people are open to just a hug!!! For the frugal that posted they were uncomfortable... your lose open your heart up there are people out there that are in more need than you swollow your ego and love!!!!

I'm alright about being hugged by strangers, I've been hugged by drunk people while at work so it's not such a surprise anymore. I always pat my pockets afterwards though.

So true though; I can be an airhead sometimes and would probably just hug then prance away. But I'd love a free hug. So long as they're not a pervert
