Would You Take Beauty Advice From Carmen Electra?

Carmen Electra has a book out called How to Be Sexy, in which she shares tips about hair, makeup, style, and beauty. I know Carmen is a sex symbol, but beauty-wise, she's a bit overdone for me. Do you think she's a beauty icon?

I wouldn't purchase the book but I've been dying to skim through it and see what she has to say. She's pretty but her style is over the top, but in Hollywood who isn't?

don't think so...and I don't really think there is ONE way to advise on beauty, not everyone's got blonde hair and busty body.

I think her make up look is so early 90s and harsh...I dislike her dark eyebrows and light hair combo...she definitely needs a make under and a new eyebrow artist...

Just from what I've seen of her on talk shows, I don't think I'm into her brand of "sexy". Act ditzy, fake coy, pretend your innocent? Please.

i definitely would not take advice from her. i'm more into subtle make-up, and she's more into the bold look.

I've never gotten her appeal...it's hard to tell if someone is really beautiful when they have so much makeup and hair going on

She is a very attractive woman, but I've never considered her an icon or a role model - just another pretty face, IMO.

She is fierce, confident and smart. We could all use some of that.. she is also over-the-top beautiful. She has a really great story behind her success.
