Do You Wear Dark Lips in Summer?

Seeing Megan Fox wearing this deep merlot lip at Comic-Con the other day got me thinking: would you ever wear dark lips in summer? Dark shades, especially wine and berry hues, are such an cold-weather thing for me that seeing them on people during the warm months is quite a surprise. Do you reserve dark hues for cold weather, or is color a seasonless thing for you?

I have black hair and a blunt heavy fringe, so i find that dark bold lips work really well even in summer. I live in australia so its summer for most of the year!

I never wear dark. I hate my lips more than anything else on me and don't want to draw attention to them.

No, everything I do lightens in the summer time. In the winter I have darker makeup and darker hair, it matches better with the weather anyway....hehe

I don't wear dark lips period. They make you look older and it's too severe.

I used to all the time, then I dyed my hair. I clash with all my lip colours now except for the lightest of pinks. :(

I don't wear dark lipstick ever but I admit the rest of my makeup gets lighter in the summer. Guess I just don't want dark makeup melting off!

I tend to wear brighter colors in the summer. Plenty of time for darker colors in New England.

No... as much as I love wine and cranberry-red lipsticks, they just seem way too strong/clashing for summer, somehow. I'll wear them like crazy in autumn and winter, though.
