Are You Shopping Today?

Thanksgiving is over. So, are you stuffed from the mounds and mounds of food? Hungover from glass after glass of wine? About to be broke from the swipe after swipe of your debit/credit cards? (Hint: Pay with cash!)

I'm doing most of my shopping on the Internet this year, so while I may need some Pepto-Bismol and Excedrin, my bank account won't suffer today. And today, it should be mentioned, is Buy Nothing Day, the annual stop-shopping event. Are you planning on getting out today to shop, are you saving it up for later, or are you not shopping at all?

I'm Canadian so Black Friday doesn't exist up here. I am usually game for Boxing Day, but will probably not go this year except to Lush for some deals.

Today was my first black friday...I got some really awesome deals, but the best was the uniqlo heat tech, and their specials on cashmere sweaters... so toasty!

I only went to 3 stores yesterday, Ulta, Circuit City, and Target, and to my surprise none of those stores were overly crowded, my two younger silbings and I went around 2 though, i hate overly crowded places.

Maybe once in my life I will attempt to shop on Black Friday, but today is not that day. ;) I have had the flu for most of the last week and I am in no mood to go out and catch something else while my resistance is down. :p

I went. The sales were terrible, and I spent a good 6 hours shopping all over the place, and only bought 2 things. A necklace for my friend, and a peacoat for me that was 50% off. It wasn't even worth going out for.

I went shopping today after noon (no way am I getting up at 4 a.m.) and I spent about $150 - not that much more than I usually spend on a trip to the mall. I, however, am not in a financial crisis like so many out there...

I'm actually working at the MALL this Black Friday. I work for Benefit Cosmetics at our mall here and I have to be in at 6 am until 2. UPDATE! Traffic was hellacious and I got out of work near an hour late!

I'm relaxing at home! I did go to the gym and worked out for an hour doing the elliptical and treadmill while reading New Moon. I rarely go out shopping on Black Friday.

I'm too impatient when it comes to going to stores on a regular day, I can't imagine going there on black Friday. I may go out later to run some every day errands but after watching the news at noon I'm extremely glad I don't waste my time going to the stores early.

I spent a bunch at amazon.com. Their black friday deals are great, and you don't have to leave the house!
