Will You Wear Kim's New Fragrance?

"Who me?" Yes you, Kim. WWD is reporting that Ms. Kardashian is launching her own fragrance, which she says "really captures who I am." I think every celebrity says something along those lines when they launch a fragrance, but I'm willing to give Kim the benefit of the doubt. After all, prior to her celebdom, she started her career as a boutique curator, and she still has a hand in her store, Dash. What do you think? Will her fragrance keep up with her glamorous image, or are you going to give this one a pass?

It's like a right of passage....you become slightly famous and then you create a perfume and soon after are officially a fashion designer. I refuse to buy any celebrity products, I'm not a fool, all it does is put tons of cash in their pockets so they can "bling" out their Bentley's with Swarovski crystals.

only if it smells good. my favorite perfume is jessica simpson's fancy. i also loved most of britney spears' fragrances, especially fantasy and in control.

Not something I will go looking for... but then again, plenty of designer scents should have never been created. They may know fashion, but that cannot always be transformed into a tasteful perfume.

I just HATE the whole celeb fragrance thing. It's like anyone can have a perfume. The only one I like and bought is L by Gwen Stefani, but she has a right to do stuff like that (clothing line), considering she's a fashion icon in her own right.

come to think of it, I can't think of a celebrity fragrance done by a celebrity that I actually like - they are usually stupid, untalented, moronic whores (i.e. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, and now Kim). I would honestly never buy a celebrity fragrance even if I liked the scent (which I usually don't) just because of principle and because I would be embarassed to own one...

No, just because I don't have any interest in it, or in her for that matter. Otherwise, celebrity perfumes don't bother me, some can be quite good, but anyways I love the many perfumes I already own and don't need another one.

yeah, I don't own any celebrity fragrances. I stick to Dior, Chanel, and Marc Jacobs, and I'm set.
