Are You and Your Siblings Competitive Over Looks?

Much like Penelope Cruz, I've got a sister who's a total knockout. She's taller, thinner, her smile is brighter and she's naturally blonde. I've always loved having such a pretty role model in my life, but I'm no saint.

Things are good now, but there was definitely a time when I was a little bit jealous that she never had to dye her roots. I'd buy cooler hair scrunchies and better lip gloss than her just to make myself feel good. What about you? Are you competitive with your siblings when it comes to your looks?

My sis and i are best friends. we dont compete. we just push each other to perfection, healthier, more beautiful, skinnier, WHATEVER! But we're both gorgeous (not to be conceited or anything), but my sis is disgustingly stunning. not to mention... an amazing body. ;)

I have a brother and he and are competitive about beauty. But we are competitive about everything! We used to compete over who had clearer skin, who got tanner faster, and when we go out to the bars.. who will get picked up faster. Women love my brother because he looks like a "hotter John Mayer". He's also 2 1/2 yrs younger than me, but he's 6'2" and I'm 5'9" so people always think we are fraternal twins or he's older.

My sister and i are totally different.. we both have out own style so with that there is really never competition! .. i help her with things and borrow her clothes and she does the same with me!... i notice as she is getting older her style is starting to change and i think its super cute!.. but she is very tiny with dark dark hair and brown eyes.. and i have light hair and blue eyes and im like a size bigger then she is.. so we have the same type of body and similar style.. but there has never been competition only helping each other out :)

Oh yes! We definatly are! Whenever we go for a nice dinner or something together with the family, my sister and I are dressed to the nines with great hair, great make-up etc...She just wants to looks older then me ;)

My sisters and I are all short (I'm the tallest at 5'4"), with large breasts and substantial butts (yes, even my youngest sister, who's a size 0). If we competed about looks, we'd only be advocating our own flaws! We do look different; I'm blonde and my sisters are brunette, I look like my mom and my sisters look like our grandmother, etc., but looking at us you can definitely tell we're all related. I think my sisters are beautiful, and we shop together when we see each other.

I feel like this with my mother but in the past few months I started to look like her lol I was always getting complimented on my looks but mother caught everyone's attention and friends and coworkers were all the time like "she is prettier than u" etc..gets hit on in the places and streets more than me sometimes lol

everyone thinks my sister and i are twins (she's older by 4 years!!)--we crack up about it. although she usually scores the complements, there's no sibling rivalry :) the closest we get is when we both try to discover the next "it" thing so we can stake a claim and get bragging rights :)

There 2 and a half yrs. differnce between me and my brother, We would bicker from time to time. Nothing really major. competing over what we wanted to do Always.

Me and my brother are competitive in fitness ways we always try to see who has the best muscles and what not but of course he is much better cuz hes a boy! haha

i have a sister who is only a year younger but she's sooo gorgeous-- brunnette, 5'7" curvy great skin killer smile. i hate bringing guys home because even though they dont mean to, they start liking her more than me, even if it is just to be around her to stare. so yes i am insanely jealous cuz i keep loosing a guy's interest because my sister is so pretty

we have different style & my sister is always proud of having beautiful sister like me lol (although she has big cute eyes)...she started putting make up followed me...she's always lovely as she is, too.

My sister & I fight over clothes, hairstyles, & body image. It's friendly competition though. We're only 2 years apart but get mistaken for twins a lot.

i guess i'm kind of naive but i never considered being competitive with my sister about looks. she's 22 months younger than me but people would always ask if we were twins. we look the same and have similar styles, so there was no contest about anything. all through high school we shared a wardrobe.
