Would You Wear Yvonne Strahovski's Bare-Faced Look on the Red Carpet?

Last night at the Julie & Julia screening in Hollywood, Yvonne Strahovski, who plays awesome CIA agent Sarah on NBC's sitcom Chuck, walked down the red carpet seemingly without professional assistance. Her hair was unstyled, no glamorous premiere makeup was to be found, and she was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Yvonne's naturally beautiful — she'd look good in a potato sack, as my mother would say — but she was more casual than other guests. Do you find this low-key approach refreshing, or do you prefer a more done-up look?

I like that she took a "risk" and appeared as is in front of cameras, but I think if she's coming out to a premier, she should dress the part. You wouldn't show up to an interview in sweats, now would you?

Personally, I would not be comfortable wearing such a bare look, so I voted 'no'.But I think that she still looks lovely! It's sad that I view going so bare-faced as a sign of having confidence, but I feel like more stars should definitely do what they want, whether it's super glam or Yvonne's low-key look. I mean, the whole world already knows what they look like made up. Have you seen Chuck?! She's GORGEOUS.

Personally, I would not be comfortable wearing such a bare look, so I voted 'no'. But I think that she still looks lovely! I disagree with all comments about "underdressing". Yvonne is clearly, absolutely gorgeous without makeup. I don't understand why she would ever feel the need to wear makeup. As for the jeans and T-shirt, I think it's a much-needed break from all the multi-thousand-dollar dresses other celebrities are wearing. It's refreshing to finally see an actress who looks just as glamorous without professional attention.

Her confidence is something to envy. It takes a very strong woman to strut the red carpet sans makeup. She's stunning, but my opinion is that she is very under dressed, and should have taken the red carpet a little more seriously

Any time but the red carpet, I wouldn't have questioned it. She's way under-dressed for the occasion, though.

IMO, she looks stunning with a natural look. I get tired of seeing such heavily made-up stars. It is refreshing to see a star let their natural beauty shine.

She is beautiful but it is the red carpet so I think she should have gotten dressed up along with the hair and make-up.

She's Beautiful without all that makeup! I've been going without makeup all summer! She was probably 1000 times more comfortable! :)

Who cares if it's the red carpet? Getting all done up just to go watch a movie/whatever is so dumb. I'd much rather feel good, and be dressed casually, rather than making a fuss over it because my picture will be in a magazine. Love this.

I'd do the whole bare-faced look, seeing as I don't wear make-up anyway. But, I'd wear a nice dress.

if I had great skin like that than I would definitely !! She looks gorgeous without makeup. However I would do a little something with my hair, throw in a braid or curl :)

I would! You see such overdramatic makeup and overdone styles today so this is lovely to see. She looks great - I do agree that she should have worn appropriate attire however. Then she would have been perfect.

I'd agree that she is beautiful, but she was underdressed for the occasion, so some makeup, hairstyling, and more formal clothes would have been more appropriate.

She is naturally attractive, but she looks like she's about to mow the lawn. Actually, it's the stringy hair that really takes the "look" down for me.

I agree with bailaoragadita. It's a bit too plan for a red carpet. I think if she had done something a little more with the hair (even a ponytail) would have spruced it up a bit.
