The beauty look (and gorgeous gowns) from Zac Posen [1]'s Fall 2014 collection is sure to be spotted next on the Oscars red carpet. The hair by Odile Gilbert for Kérastase used over 60 bobby pins to accent an old Hollywood hairstyle. Bangs were swooped to one side, while the back flowed into brushed-out waves reminiscent of Rita Hayworth.
Lead makeup artist Kabuki kept with the glamorous inspiration but added a touch of edge. Instead of the typical smoky eye, he created a graphic design on lids and complemented it with a red-orange matte lip, Dangerous by MAC Cosmetics. To finish the look, the manicure was a dark wintry hue from Morgan Taylor.
