MAC Cosmetics' Whitney Houston Collection Has "Something For Every Beauty Lover"

MAC Cosmetics is releasing yet another buzz-worthy collection. Hot on the heels of its Future Forward line, the brand has revealed that a MAC x Whitney Houston collaboration is forthcoming. Created with insight from the estate, the line will feature some of Houston's favorite eye, lip, and cheek colors to make achieving her signature makeup looks that much easier.
"Whitney was always a champion of women feeling beautiful, whether it was a major event or just for everyday wear," Pat Houston, executor of Whitney Houston's estate, said in a press release. "Our work with MAC is about creating a line that can meet all of those needs."
One of the collection's hero products will be an eight-pan eyeshadow palette called Whitney's Nippy Eye-conic Palette ($45). It includes both matte and shimmery shades to help you create sensual yet wearable eye looks, whether you're a performer on a stage or just headed to the office. "In a collection this sophisticated, there's something for every beauty lover," MAC senior artist Fatima Thomas tells POPSUGAR.
Additional products in the collection include four lipsticks in a variety of reds, nudes, and pinks; two shimmer blushes; a golden-bronze highlighter; two shimmery lip-glass shades; and a set of fluffy fake eyelashes. To top it all off, you will also have the option to buy a limited-edition clutch, which features a stunning gold-tiled design.
The MAC x Whitney Houston collection will officially be on sale in stores and online and at MACCosmetics.com on Thursday, Dec. 8. Until then, read ahead to get the inside scoop on each product.
