Yara Shahidi is a very passionate advocate for "ashiness prevention." The Grown-ish star gave fans a detailed look at her Winter skincare routine in a new Instagram video, and if you've ever questioned how she's been able to maintain her glow, the three different Bobbi Brown moisturizers she incorporates into her routine will tell you just about everything you need to know.

Shahidi's video was shared on IGTV on Jan. 13, though it appears to have been filmed back in November, ahead of her appearance at Glamour's Woman of the Year Awards. After a long flight from Los Angeles to New York City to attend the event, the actress started off her routine by wiping her face down with a damp towel before washing her face with Bobbi Brown's Soothing Face Cleanser Oil ($50) and applying the brand's Hydrating Face Tonic Toner ($36).

She then moves on to her three moisturizers which all serve a different purpose, as she explains in the video. The Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer ($60) is used as a base that makes makeup look smoother after it's applied, while the Hydrating Face Cream ($60) uses a thinner formula to add an extra layer of protection to the skin before makeup is applied. Her third cream is actually a Hydrating Eye Cream ($56) that she recommends applying all over the face. Lastly, Shahidi moves on to what appears to be a staple in her makeup bag, Bobbi Brown's Extra Lip Tint ($34), which is a lightweight lip balm that she uses so often that she's become known for leaving the tubes around pretty much everywhere she goes.

"I carry like 10 of these in my bag at all times," she says. "They're nice and hydrating and, depending on the day, I'm a lip gloss person, but this replaces the lip gloss for me." Watch the video above to get a full look at how she applies her products, and shop some of her favorites ahead.
